Article life
[edit]It all started from my fixing the usage of the term "Nicholas soldiers" in the article History of the Jews in Estonia. During further editing in "cantonist" I figured out the I understand this term incorrectly and what is more if books by Jewish history there is also a good deal of confusion about the term. First I thought to write a small stub "Nicholas soldiers", then it turned out that the sources about the term are quite scarce and instead it makes sense to write a general article Conscription in the Russian Empire. A further backtracking on what to write first had led to creation of this disambig page. Laudak (talk) 05:50, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
