Luke Wypler (/ˈwɪplər/ WIP-lər; born May 3, 2001) is an American football center for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State.
Early years
[edit]Wypler was born on May 3, 2001, in Englewood, New Jersey.[1] He grew up in Dunellen, New Jersey, and attended Saint Joseph Regional High School.[2] Wypler committed to play college football for the Buckeyes at Ohio State University.[3]
College career
[edit]Wypler played in one game during his true freshman season at Ohio State before redshirting the season.[4] He was named the Buckeyes starting center entering his redshirt freshman season.[5][6] Wypler started 13 games and an honorable mention on the 2021 All-Big Ten team.[7] He was named third-team All-Big Ten as a redshirt sophomore.[8]

Wypler was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round, 190th overall, of the 2023 NFL draft.[10]
