Kahurestan District (Persian: بخش کهورستان) is in Khamir County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kahurestan,[2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 3,418 in 1,036 households.[3][a]
History
[edit]After the census, Kahurestan Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Kahurestan District, which included the newly formed Latidan Rural District.[2]
