Kahak (Persian: کهک)[a] is a city in the Central District of Kahak County, Qom province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 2,766 in 797 households, when it was in the former Nofel Loshato District of Qom County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,906 people in 883 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 4,837 people in 1,480 households.[2]
After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kahak County, and Kahak was transferred to the new Central District as the county's capital.[4]
