Deutsch: Ausgeschnittener Videoclip eines Perseiden-Meteors im Sternbild Giraffe (vorbei an Kassiopeia auf der Höhe von Kepheus).

Einfallsrichtung vom Radianten an der Grenze der Sternbilder Perseus, Giraffe und Kassiopeia in Richtung Nordnordwesten, die Länge des Meteors beträgt zirka 2°.
Aufgenommen am 14. August 2019 um 1:49 Uhr in Berlin.
Im Bild sind im Uhrzeigersinn fünf szintillierende Sterne mit einer scheinbaren Helligkeit fünfter bis sechster Magnitude zu erkennen:

  • HD 30338 (HR 1523), 5,06m, oben am Bildrand
  • HD 33564 (HR 1686), 5,06m, oberhalb des Eintrittskanals des Meteors
  • HD 46588 (HR 2401), 5,44m, unterhalb des linken Drittels des Meteors
  • HD 45866 (HR 2363), 5,75m, unten in der Bildmitte
  • HD 55966 (HR 2742, VZ Cam), 4,91m, links oben
Belichtungsparameter: Brennweite = 17 Millimeter, Belichtungszeit = 1/30 Sekunde, Blendenzahl = 1,8, Belichtungsindex = ISO 12800
English: Cropped video clip of a meteor in the constellation Camelopardalis (having passed Cassiopeia at the level of Cepheus).

Direction of the meteor as seen from the radiant at the border of the constellations Perseus, Camelopardalis and Cassiopeia was north-northwest, the length of the meteor is about 2°.
Taken on 14 August 2019 at 1:49 MESZ in Berlin.
There are five scintillating stars visible with an apparent magnitude of five to six (clockwise):

  • HD 30338 (HR 1523), 5,06m, top at corner of the image
  • HD 33564 (HR 1686), 5,06m, above the end of the tail of the meteor
  • HD 46588 (HR 2401), 5,44m, below the left third of the meteor
  • HD 45866 (HR 2363), 5,75m, bottom in the center of the image
  • HD 55966 (HR 2742, VZ Cam), 4,91m, left top
Exposure parameters: focal length = 17 millimeter, exposure time = 1/30 second, f-number = 1,8, exposure index = ISO 12800
