Description
English: Two U.S. Army soldiers launch a mortar round on the live fire range at Glamoc, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on May 6, 1998. These Iron Troop 3rd Squadron 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment soldiers are deployed to Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the Stabilization Force in Operation Joint Guard. The Gunner is Specialist Kurt Puig. The Assistant Gunner is Private First Class Michael Vaughn.
Deutsch: Mörser beim Laden. Am Ende der Granate ist noch der Ansatz der Treibladung zu erkennen. Weiterhin kann man gut die Bodenplatte sehen, über die der Rückstoß an das Erdreich weitergeleitet wird.
