[edit]Fair use rationale: this is a low-resolution, reduced photo of a plate reproduction from a book that is long out of print, and it is clearly here substantively necessary for discussion of this artist's style, of the technique of impasto, and of the abstract expressionist movement (especially since currently the abstract expressionism article lacks even a single sample image of a work in the style). This can in no way infringe on the copyright of the author (Phoebe Stanton, d. 2003), nor can it do anything but enhance the commercial prospects for sale of the book and of the art itself. Furthermore, There was no image of this work to be found (outside of Wikipedia) on the internet, so it was not possible merely to provide readers with a link to it.
