ποιη εν τη βασιλει-
α αυτου· και ουτως
πασαι αι γυναικες
περιθησουσιν τι-
μην τοις ανδρασι
εαυτων απο πτω-
χου εως πλουσιου·
και ηρεσεν ο λο-
γος τω βασιλει· και
τοις αρχουσιν· και
εποιησεν ο βασι-
λευς καθ' α ελαλη-
σεν ο μαμουχεος·

Translations

English: "[...]published in all his empire, and thus all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small. And this advice pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan."
Dansk: "[...]offentliggjorde i hele sit rige · og således skal alle hustruer give deres mænd ære både til store og små · og dette råd behagede kongen · og fyrsterne · og kongen handlede ifølge Memucans ord ·"
