Cheyenne_Mountain_nuclear_bunker.png(120 × 180 pixels, file size: 18 KB, MIME type: image/png)

This architecture image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with ((vector version available|new image name)).
It is recommended to name the SVG file “Cheyenne Mountain nuclear bunker.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description The Cheyenne Mountain nuclear bunker has main chambers (rectangular grid), a support area including 4 water reservoirs, and a north-south blast tunnel--all within the eastward spur of the Cheyenne Mountain massif. Along the blast tunnel are a turnaround area (to right) for shuttle buses, blast doors (left black interfaces to side tunnels) and other bulkheads (e.g., automatic air valves).
