[edit]| Description | Imperial Japanese Army pilot Captain Yoshio Yoshida is shown standing next to his Nakajima Ki-84 fighter aircraft which has been painted to show his two successes against Boeing B-29 Superfortress bombers on 13 and 15 April 1945. These two night actions were his first confirmed kills of B-29 bombers. Earlier in Manchuria he claimed a probable kill, and later in April and May 1945 he scored four more confirmed successes against B-29s. |
