Ardal (Persian: اردل)[a] is a city in the Central District of Ardal County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]

The city is populated by Lurs.[5]\

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 8,162 in 1,767 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 8,992 people in 2,025 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 10,113 people in 2,642 households.[2]
