The 1990 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Organized by The Athletics Congress (TAC), the competition took place on February 23 and served as the national championships in indoor track and field for the United States.[1] The championships in combined track and field events were held at a different date.[2][3]

Weight throw and shot put events were contested at Princeton University.[4] At the meeting, Lynn Jennings came from behind to win the women's 3000 m in a new American indoor record.[5]
