The 1967–68 season was Chelsea Football Club's fifty-fourth competitive season. Manager Tommy Docherty was dismissed early in the season and succeeded by former Chelsea coach Dave Sexton. The club finished 6th in the First Division and reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

  1. ^ Everton were ineligible to participate in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup as Liverpool had already qualified. Under the rules of the cup, only one team per city could participate. Chelsea took their place as the highest-ranked team that hadn't already qualified for a European competition.
  2. ^ West Bromwich Albion qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup as the 1967-68 FA Cup winners.
