Kerry won by double scores to claim their third All-Ireland senior title, their scorers being: Jack Skinner (1–2);[1] Paddy Mullane (0–3);[2] Jack Kennelly (0–2);[2] Tom Costello (0–1)[3] and Dick Fitzgerald.[4]

This was also the first championship meeting of Kerry and Louth.[5]
