Wellendominiertes Delta

Ein wellendominiertes Delta entsteht, wenn küstenparallele Strömungen vorherrschen und das angelieferte Sedimentmaterial küstenparallel verfrachtet wird. Dadurch entstehen entlang der Küste große Sedimentansammlungen. Typisch für diese Deltaform ist die asymmetrische Form.
