Schärenkreuzer

Schärenkreuzer sind in Schweden entwickelte sportliche Segelboote. Sie bestehen überwiegend aus Holz und werden historisch bedingt hauptsächlich in der Ostsee, insbesondere in den Schären gesegelt. Schärenkreuzer sind eine Konstruktionsklasse, was bedeutet, dass die Boote nicht komplett identisch sind. Sie werden anhand von Formeln entwickelt, was die Boote in Größe und Leistungsfähigkeit vergleichbar macht. Die meisten Schärenkreuzer sind schmale Boote mit geringem Freibord und hohem Rigg.
Schärenkreuzer werden anhand ihrer Segelfläche unterschieden:
- 15-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 22-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 30-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 40-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 55-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 75-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 95-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 120-m²-Schärenkreuzer
- 150-m²-Schärenkreuzer
