Mare Nostrum (Schwimmen)

Mare Nostrum ist eine Reihe von drei Schwimmveranstaltungen an der europäischen Mittelmeerküste, an der jedes Jahr im Juni die Weltelite im Schwimmsport teilnimmt. Die besten acht Schwimmer und Schwimmerinnen, resultierend aus den Ergebnissen von Monte Carlo, Barcelona und Canet-en-Roussillon, bekommen ein Preisgeld, wobei der Gewinner mit 7000 Euro entlohnt wird. Für jeden Welt-, Europa- oder Mare-Nostrum-Rekord gibt es weitere Prämien.
