Charles Francis Abdy Williams (* 16. Juli 1855 in Dawlish, Devon, Vereinigtes Königreich; † 27. Februar 1923 in Milford on Sea, Lymington, Hampshire, Vereinigtes Königreich) war ein britischer Organist, Violinist, Musikwissenschaftler und Musikschriftsteller. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Biografien Georg Friedrich Händels und Johann Sebastian Bachs.

Charles Francis Abdy Williams studierte von 1875 bis 1878 in Cambridge. Danach ging er nach Neuseeland. Er wurde Organist an St. Mary’s in Auckland und gründete einen Glee Club. 1879 ging er nach England zurück und wurde 1881 Organist und music master am Dover College. 1882 ging er ans Konservatorium Leipzig. Hier studierte er bei Carl Reinecke. Von 1885 bis 1891 war er Organist an St. Mary’s in West Brompton. Er widmete sich der Musik des antiken Griechenlands und der Gregorianik und forschte in Belgien, Frankreich und Italien. Auf Grund seiner Veröffentlichungen wurde er ans Bradfield College berufen.^[1]
