Wissenschaftliche Schwerpunkte: Geschichte, Stichwort "Drittes Reich". Magisterarbeit: Potsdamer Konferenz. Daneben: Octavian/Augustus. Altägyptische Geschichte. Hethiter. Germanistik: Semiotik, Brecht/Dürrenmatt.

Hobbys: Schach, Bridge, Badminton, Reisen in die archäologische Antike, Lesen, Gartengestaltung.
