Biolegydd moleciwlar ydy James Dewey Watson (ganwyd 6 Ebrill 1928), a enillodd Wobr Nobel yn adran Ffisioleg a Meddygaeth[1] yn 1962, ynghyd â Francis Crick[2] a Maurice Wilkins[3], am ei ran yn darganfod strwythur DNA. DNA yw un o folecylau mwyaf dylanwadol bywyd ar y ddaear.

Yn ystod ei gyfnod fel prif gyfarwyddwr bwrdd cwmni DPC[4], bu'n rhan o sefydlu safle Euro DPC yng Nghlyn Rhonwy, Llanberis[5]. Bu i Dafydd Wigley AS ran sylweddol yn y datblygiad hwn. Yn 2016 cwmni Siemens[6] pia’r safle.
