Bhaji yw fyrbryd sbeislyd neu gwrs cyntaf sy'n debyg i ffriter, sy'n tarddu o is-gyfandir India, gyda sawl amrywiad.[1] Mae'n fwyd byrbryd poblogaidd yn Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Assam, Gorllewin Bengal ac Odisha yn India, ac mae'n cael ei werthu ar stondinau ochr y stryd.

Yn aml y tu allan i Dde a Gorllewin India, gelwir byrbrydau o'r fath yn pakora.

Mae bhajis yn rhan o fwyd traddodiadol Gwjarati Marathi, Tamil a Telugu, sy'n cael ei weini ar achlysuron arbennig ac ar wyliau. Yn gyffredinol maent yn cael eu gweini gyda phaned o goffi, te, neu yameen traddodiadol.

Mae amrywiadau yn cynnwys y bajji tsili, bajji tatws, a bajji bara (neu pakoda bara). Enw fersiwn arall yw bonda (yn ne India), vada (ym Maharashtra) a gota (yn Gujarat). Mae bonda wedi'i lenwi â thatws neu lysiau cymysg, tra bod gota wedi'i wneud o ddail ffenigrig gwyrdd.

Mae bhajis winwns yn aml yn cael eu bwyta fel cwrs cyntaf mewn bwytai Eingl-Indiaidd cyn y prif gwrs, ynghyd â poppadoms a byrbrydau Indiaidd eraill. Gellir eu gweini gydag ochr o salad a sleisen o lemwn, neu gyda siytni mango. Yn draddodiadol fydd ganddynt blas ysgafn.[1]

Mae Record Byd Guinness ar gyfer y bhaji winwns mwyaf yw un sy'n pwyso 102.2kg (225 pwys 4.9oz) a wnaed yn Bradford yn 2011.[2]
