  1. Výběr výherců probíhá kombinací způsobů, mezi které patří:
    1. losování,
    2. hodnocení poroty,
    3. počet soutěžních příspěvků,
    4. účast v soutěži jako nováček,
    5. čtenost článků.

Porota

  1. Porota není nutnou součástí každé editační soutěže, zejména u těch hlavních je ale její .
  2. Členství v porotě musí být otevřené komunitě, a to prostřednictvím výzvy na stránce soutěže. V případě nezájmu ze strany komunity zůstává toto místo neobsazené.
  3. Ostatní členy poroty vybírá koordinátor soutěže z řad partnerů spolku Wikimedia Česká republika, zejména expertů na danou oblast.
  4. Hodnocení je ze své podstaty subjektivní, z tohoto důvodu primárně poptáváme vícečlenné poroty.
