Anhingovití (Anhingidae) je čeleď vodních ptáků ptáků z řádu terejů, kteří jsou příbuzní kormoránům. Vyskytují se v tropickém a subtropickém pásu kolem celé Země. Živí se rybami, které harpunují za pomoci svého dlouhého krku.
Druhy

[editovat | editovat zdroj]Dnes žijí pouze čtyři druhy[1][2] jediného rodu s následujícími českými názvy.[3]
- anhinga americká (Anhinga anhinga)
- anhinga indomalajská = anhinga indická = anhinga rezavá (Anhinga melanogaster)
- anhinga australská (Anhinga novaehollandiae)
- anhinga africká = anhinga rezavá (Anhinga rufa)

- Macranhinga
- Giganhinga (Giganhinga kiyuensis) – svrchní pliocén/spodní pleistocén, Uruguay[6]

- Anhinga subvolans – spodní miocén, USA
- Anhinga fraileyi – svrchní miocén/?spodní pliocén, jih Jižní Ameriky
- Anhinga minuta – Brazílie[5]
- Anhinga pannonica – svrchní miocén/spodní pliocén, Německo[7], Maďarsko, Tunisko, Pákistán, Thajsko, Libye
- Anhinga grandis – svrchní pliocén USA[8]
- Anhinga malagurala – spodní pliocén, Austrálie; nejmenší druh[9]
- Anhinga hadarensis – svrchní pliocén/spodní pleistocén, východní Afrika
- byly popsány také Anhinga nana a Anhinga parva, ukázalo se ale, že jde o kosti kormoránů[10][11]
