Ang taka-khmer ay makatabang sa goberno law ang nakabatayawa (ang goberno nga bill sa imong kwarta). Si king norodom sihanouk 1922-2012 ay presedente sa khmer party ug sa prime minister.ang gobeno sa Phnom Penh ay nadi-esklalar kini. Noong 1991 gi-apil sa united nations sa gikan sa treaty of paris.
