David V fou rei de Geòrgia durant sis mesos el 1155.

En l'any 1155 David es va revoltar contra el seu pare Demetri I, que va ser obligat a abdicar, però al cap de sis mesos el pare va recuperar el poder, i va designar hereu al seu altre fill Jordi III.[1][2]
