Glossanodon semifasciatus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels argentínids.[5]

Descripció

  • Pot arribar a fer 21 cm de llargària màxima.
  • 11 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal i 10-12 a l'anal.
  • Cos allargat i cilíndric.[6][7]

Depredadors

Al Japó és depredat per Macrorhamphosodes uradoi[8] i Galeus nipponensis.[9][10]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí, bentopelàgic i de clima temperat (32°N-15°N, 101°E-149°E) que viu entre 70 i 430 m de fondària.[6][11]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba al Pacífic nord-occidental: el sud del Japó.[6][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
