Els apusozous (Apusozoa) són un fílum d'eucariotes unicel·lulars flagelats. Mesuren entre 5 i 20 μm. Es troben en el sòl i en hàbitats aquàtics, alimentant-se de bacteris. S'agrupen en comunitat basant-se en la presència d'una teca orgànica sota la superfície dorsal de la cèl·lula. Hi ha tres ordres sovint tractats com a grups separats: Apusomonadida Ancyromonadida i Hemimastigida.
