Trimurti (sanskrt: त्रिमूर्ति, trimūrti; "tri lika") koncept je hinduizma koji predstavlja udruživanje tri kosmičke funkcije: stvaranja, očuvanja i uništenja, kroz prikaz velikih hinduskih božanstava Brahme kao Kreatora, Višnua kao "Onog koji čuva" i Šive kao "Onog koji uništava". Trimurti simbolizira porijeklo svih božanskih efekata u jednom jedinstvu, s obzirom da se tri aspekta međusobno uslovljavaju i dopunjuju, ono predstavlja bezoblični Brahma i izražava kreativne, održavajuće i uništavajuće aspekte ovog vrhovnog bića.

Trimurti [a] je trojstvo vrhovnog božanstva u hinduizmu,[2][3][4][5] u kojem su kosmičke funkcije stvaranja, očuvanja i uništenja personificirane kao trijada božanstava. Tipično, oznake su Brahma kreator, Višnu čuvar i Šiva razarač.[6] [7] Smatra se da simbol Om u hinduizmu ima aluziju na Trimurti, gdje se smatra da fonemi A, U i M riječi označavaju stvaranje, očuvanje i uništenje, dodajući da predstavljaju Brahmana.[8] Tridevi je trojstvo boginja supruga za Trimurti. Predstavljanje

Trimurti su predstavljeni bilo kao tri božanstva jedan pored drugog, bilo kao jedinstvena figura sa tri glave ili jedna troglava figura sa šest ruku, koja tada pokazuje ličnost Brahme sa bokalom za vodu i molitvenim lancem (krunicom, tespihom), Višnu sa diskom i školjkom kao i Šivu sa njegovim trozupcem i malim dvostrukim bubnjem (damaru).

Druga ilustracija Trimurtija je Dattatreya, također poznata i kao Datta-Atreya (Datta, sin Atrija). On je utjelovljen u vječno mladalačkom liku i manifestira se u božanskom tro-jedinstvu Brahme, Višne i Šive. U skladu s tim, prikazan je sa tri lica i često ga prate ilustracije i prikazi pasa.
