Cornaceae je kosmopolitska porodica cvjetnica reda Cornales. Sadrži otprilike 85 vrsta u dva roda:[1] Alangium i Cornus.

Uglavnom su to drveće i grmlje, koje može biti listopadno ili zimzeleno, iako je nekoliko vrsta višegodišnjih biljaka. Članovi ove porodice obično imaju nasuprotne ili naizmenično jednostavne listove, četvero- ili petokrake cvjetove skupljene u cvati ili pseudoštit, i koštuničave plodove.[2] U sjevernim umjerenim područjima, Cornaceae su dobro poznate kao stabla drijen i pasdrijen. Stematika Cornaceae bila je nevjerojatno neuređena i kontroverzna, pa su joj s vremenom dodavani i uklanjeni mnogi rodovi. (Jedan istraživač ih je nazvao "otpadom".[3])

Molekularna filogenetika je razjasnila srodnost nekih pridruženih rodova, a najmanje devet onih koji su prethodno bili uključeni u Cornaceae je u potpunosti eliminirano iz reda Cornales.[4] ali je opseg Cornaceae još uvijek je nejasan. Grupa za filogeniju angiospermi, Cornaceae obično definira kao rodove "Cornus" i "Alangium", kao i pet rodova koji su sada odvojeni u porodicu Nyssaceae. Međutim, mnogi od tih rodova su ponekad podijeljeni u vlastite porodice (npr. Alangiaceae), a njihova upotreba i dalje ostaje nedosljedna.[4][5]
