Mika Pauli Häkkinen bivši je finski vozač i dvostruki svjetski prvak u Formuli 1. Nakon uspjeha u kartingu i nakon što je umalo pobijedio na Velikoj nagradi Makaa 1990. priključio se timu Lotus 1991. godine u kojem je ostao još 1 godinu. 1993. prelazi u McLaren kao test-vozač i kao zamjena za Ayrtona Sennu, a nakon što je Michael Andretti dobio otkaz poslije VN Italije te godine, Häkkinen postaje takmičarski vozač. 1994. godine postaje prvi vozač McLarena nakon Senninog prelaska u Williams. Doživio je tešku nesreću tokom kvalifikacija za VN Australije 1995. zbog koje mu je i život bio u opasnosti.
