পাঁচডোরা কাঠবিড়ালি (ইংরেজি: Northern Palm Squirrel বা five-striped palm squirrel) (বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম: Funambulus pennantii) হচ্ছে কাঠবিড়ালী পরিবারের একটি স্তন্যপায়ী প্রাণী। এদের দেহের পশম ঘন সন্নিবিষ্ট এবং লেজও ঘন ঝোপযুক্ত। এদের মাথা প্রশস্ত ও গোলাকার, চোখ বড় এবং কান স্পষ্ট ও ত্রিকোণাকার[৫]
বাংলাদেশের ২০১২ সালের বন্যপ্রাণী (সংরক্ষণ ও নিরাপত্তা) আইনের তফসিল-১ অনুযায়ী এ প্রজাতিটি সংরক্ষিত।[৬]
আচরণ
[সম্পাদনা]এরা একাকী বা জোড়ায় চলে। প্রধানত ফল, বীজ, বাদাম, বাকল, পোকামাকড় ও খেজুরের রস খায়।[৭] বাংলাদেশে দুই প্রজাতির ডোরা কাঠবিড়ালি আছে। এদের একটি পাঁচডোরা কাঠবিড়ালি এবং অন্যটি তিনডোরা কাঠবিড়ালি। এই দুই প্রজাতিরই পিঠের ওপর সাদা ডোরা দাগ আছে।
