জন ফ্ল্যামস্টিড (১৯ আগস্ট ১৬৪৬ – ৩১ ডিসেম্বর ১৭১৯) ছিলেন একজন ইংরেজ জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানী এবং প্রথম রয়েল জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানী। তিনি গ্রিনিচ মানমন্দিরের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা। [১]

জন ফ্ল্যামস্টিড ইংল্যান্ডের ডার্বিশায়ারে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। ১৬৬৫ সালের অগাস্টে তিনি জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানের উপর প্রথম গবেষণাপত্র রচনা করেন। [২]
