আবু আবদুল্লাহ মুহাম্মাদ আল-ইদ্রিসি আল-কুরতুবী আল-হাসানী আস-সাবিত, বা সাধারণভাবে আল-ইদ্রিসি (/ælɪˈdriːsiː/; আরবি: أبو عبد الله محمد الإدريسي القرطبي الحسني السبتي; লাতিন: Dreses; ১১০০ - ১১৬৫), ছিলেন একজন আরব[১][২] মুসলিম ভূগোলবিদ, মানচিত্রাঙ্কনকার এবং মিশরতত্ত্ববিদ যিনি কিছু সময়ের জন্য রাজা ২য় রজারের শাসনামলে সিসিলির পালের্মোতে বসবাস করেছিলেন।[৩] মুহম্মাদ আল-ইদ্রিসি সেউতাতে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন তখন তা আলমোরাভিডদের অন্তর্গত ছিলেন। তিনি তাবুলা রোজেরিয়ানা তৈরি করেছেন, মধ্যযুগীয় বিশ্বের অন্যতম উন্নত মানচিত্র।[৪] তিনি ১১৫৪ সালে সর্বপ্রথম বিশ্বের মানচিত্র তৈরি করেছিলেন।[৫]
বিশ্ববিখ্যাত আবিষ্কারক Christopher colombas এবং Vasco da-gama যে মানচিত্র নিয়ে বিশ্ব আবিষ্কারে বেরিয়েছিলেন সেই মানচিত্রটিও আল-ইদ্রিসি এর আঁকা।
তাঁর আরেকটি অন্যতম বৈশিষ্ট ছিলো যে তিনি যত মানচিত্র আঁকতেন সবগুলো মানচিত্র ছিলো উল্টো অর্থ্যাৎ উপরের দিক দক্ষিণ আর নীচের দিক ছিল উত্তর।
