Стаматыт (ад стар.-грэч.: Στόμα — рот) — пашкоджанне слізістай абалонкі ротавай поласці. Бывае абмежаванае запаленне слізістай абалонкі языка — гласіт, дзяснаў — гінгівіт. Адрозніваюць: афтозны, катаральны, язвавы, некратычны; востры і хранічны; першасны і другасны. Складае звыш 70 % хвароб слізістай поласці рота ў дзяцей.

Папярэджанне

Прадухіленню хваробы спрыяе багатая на вітаміны групы B, цынк, фоліевую кіслату, жалеза і селен ежа, трэба лячыць хворыя зубы, піць толькі з асабістага посуду, менш прыкладаць пальцы да рота, спажываць толькі мытую садавіну і гародніну, мыць рукі перад ядой[2].

Прычыны

Запаленню спрыяе забруджанне поласці рота, хвароба зубоў, зубныя адкладанні, дысбактэрыёз, вірусная інфекцыя (герпес), грыбок і алергія[3].

Праявы

Прыкметы хваробы: пачырваненне і напуханне слізістай поласці рота, сып, боль і непрыемны пах з рота[4].
