Гарбата — напой, які атрымліваецца пры заварванні кіпенем пладоў, кветак, сцёблаў або каранёў раслін. Гарбатай таксама завецца падрыхтаваны раслінны збор, прызначаны для гатавання гэтага напою.
Гарбату п’юць як гарачай, так і астуджанай. Эфект залежыць ад складу травянога збору: многія травяныя зборы ўтрымліваюць таксічныя рэчывы,[1][2] могуць быць забруджаныя пестыцыдамі і цяжкімі металамі[3][4].
