Darya Sorokina — Azərbaycanı təmsil edən bədii gimnast, idman ustası, 2015-ci ildən bədii gimnastlardan ibarət Azərbaycan yığmasının üzvüdür.

Darya Sorokina Azərbaycanı 2017, 2020, 2021, 2022 və 2023-cü illərdə Avropa çempionatlarında təmsil edib. 2020-ci ildə 1 gümüş və 2 bürünc medala, 2022-ci ildə 3 bürünc medala, 2023-cü ildə isə 1 qızıl və 1 bürünc sahib olub. 2021-ci ildə Tokioda keçirilən yay Olimpiya oyunlarında Azərbaycanı təmsil edib.

Darya Sorokina həm də 2019, 2021 və 2022-ci illərdə Dünya Çempionatında mübarizə aparıb. 2022-ci ildə Sofiya şəhərində baş tutan turnirdə onun təmsil olunduğu qrup tarixi nəticəyə imza atıb. Darya Sorokina, Güllü Ağalarzadə, Kamilla Əliyeva, Ləman Əlimuradova, Yelizaveta Luzan və Zeynəb Hümmətovadan ibarət qrup həmin çempionatda 3 lent və 2 topla turnirdə 30,750 balla turnirin bürünc medallarına sahib olub. Bu, Azərbaycan idmanı tarixinda bədii gimnastların Dünya Çempionatının qrup turnirində əldə etdikləri ilk və yeganə medaldır.
