Əlahəzrətin gəmisi Royal Soveren — (ing. HMS Royal Sovereign — Her or His Majesty’s Ship Royal Sovereign) (1786) — üçdorlu, 100 döyüş topuna malik Böyük Britaniya Kral Donamasına məxsus sayca üçüncü I ranq xətt gəmisi. 1805 ci ildə Trafalqar döyüşündə iştirak etmişdir. Plimut kral tərsanəsində C. Uilyamsın layihəsi əsnasında 7 yanvar 1774 cü ildə əsası qoyulmuşdur. Tikintisinə ABŞ İstiqlal müharibəsi zamanında bir neçə dəfə fasilə verilsə də 11 sentyabr 1786 cı ildə suya salınmışdır. Gəmi 67,458 £ başa gəlmişdir[1].
Xidməti
[redaktə | mənbəni redaktə et]Əsas xidmətini La Manş boğazında, bir neçə dəfə Aralıq dənizi yürüşlərində keçirmişdir.
1794 — admiral Hau donaması tərkibində Şanlı Bir İyun döyüşündə iştirak etmişdir. (14 ılü, 41 yaralı)[2].
1795 — 16 iyunda Kornuollisin bayraqdarı olmuş[3].
1805 — kapitan Edvard Rotergemin sərəncamında Trafalqar döyüşündə kiçik baytaqdar. İlk döyüşə atılaraq ilk rəqib cərgəsini yaran, 4 saatdan artıq təkbaşına vuruşmuşdur (42 ölü, 94 yaralı)[4].
1806 — Tulonun mühasirəsi.
1811 — noyabr, La Manşa dönür.
1825 — 17 avqust adı dəyişdirilir “HMS Captain” olur.
1826 — Plimutda tərkisilah eilir.
1841 — 28 avqust sökülür[5]. Bir neçə döyüş topu Kallinqvud memorialında saxlanılmaqdadır[6].
