Los montes Elburz (en persa البرز), tamién escritu Alburz o Alborz o inclusive Elbruz, ye una cordal al norte d'Irán, que s'estiende dende les llendes d'Armenia hasta'l mar Caspiu, y termina nes llendes de Turkmenistán y Afganistán. Inclúi'l mayor altor d'Oriente Mediu, el monte Damavand con 5.610 m d'altitú.

Formen una barrera ente'l Caspiu y la pandu de Qazvin-Teḥrán (parte norte de la gran meseta iranina). Estender en direición oeste-esti a lo llargo d'un arcu de 600 km, que la so estensión mínima ye de 60 km y la máxima de 130 km. Ta conformada por series sedimentaries que daten del altu Devónicu al Oligocenu, predominantemente caliares xurásiques sobre un nucleu de granitu.

Ente los sitios d'interés tán la fortaleza medieval d'Alamut y delles estaciones d'esquí, dalgunes de les cualos son consideraes de los meyores del mundu, como Dizin.

Esti cordal nun tien de confundise col monte Elbrus nel Cáucasu, que'l so nome tamién deriva del llexendariu monte Harā Bərəzaitī del Avesta.
