محمد شريف محمود الجندى (17 فبراير 1946) من مواليد القاهرة
تخرج من جامعة الاسكندرية فى 1966، متخصصا فى الرياضيات و العلوم الطبيعية.
حاصل على دبلوم الارصاد الجوية (ديناميكا الهواء) من جامعة القاهرة.
حاصل على دبلوم ادارة الاعمال الصناعية من جامعة عين شمس فى 1983.
شارك فى حرب الاستنزاف و حرب اكتوبر المجيدة من 1968 الى 1974.
شارك فى تركيب و تشغيل اول مقياس للرصد الجوى على ارتفاعات مختلفة بموقع انشاء المحطة النووية لتوليد الكهرباء يسيدى كرير بالساحل الشمالى، قبل نقلها الى موقعها الجديد بمدينة الضبعة (1978).
عمل بالتصنيع العسكرى بالهيئة العربية للتصنيع و تولى مناصب عدة (1979 - 2006) آخرها مدير لقطاع الجودة و رئيس مجموعة استشارات نظم الجودة.
عمل محاضرا لنظم الجودة فى الادارة بالمراكز البحثية و الجامعات، منذ 1995.
عمل مستشارا فى دراسة الجدوى لانشاء الصناعات المتوسطة و الخفيفة منذ 2006.
شارك مع الوكالة الدانماركية DANIDA فى تطوير نظم الادارة اللامركزية بجهاز شئون البيئة بمصر منذ 2007 حتى انتهاء المشروع.
