- 1984 - الطائرة سي- 5 جالاكسي التابعة للقوات الجوية الأمريكية تضع رقم قياسي وطني أمريكي جديد في حمل وزن قدره 417,684 كجم.
- 1950 - الطائرة إف - 86 صبري تبدأ عملياتها في كوريا.
- 1935 - الطائرة دوغلاس دي سي-3 تحلق لأول مرة. هي تعد من أنجح الطائرات علي مر التاريخ.
- 1903 - الأخوان رايت يقومان بأربع رحلات بطائرتهم فلاير الأولي من كاتي هاوك ، كارولانيا الشمالية. بعد سنوات من الدراسة المكرسة و التطوير ، يحلق الأخوان رايت في أول عملية طيران لمسافة 37 متر. و هذة الرحلة تعتبر أول رحلة طيران بطائرة أثقل من الهواء تعمل بالوقود و مسيطر عليها، و أول رحلة طيران مصورة. في الأربع رحلات التي قاموا بها حافظوا علي ارتفاع 260 متر.
