Gottschee (Kočevsko en esloveno, Gottschee en alemán) fa referencia a l'antiga rechión de parla chermanica en Carniola, territorio de l'antigL'Imperio Habsburgo y parti d'a historica y tradicional rechión d'a Baixa Carniola, actualment en Eslovenia. A rechión ha estau un condau, ducau, districto y municipio mientres cuantas partis d'a suya historia. O termin gosa fer referencia a iste enclau etnolingüistico sin parar cuenta en as mugas administrativas.[1][2] Actualment Gottschee se corresponde amplament con o municipio de Kočevje. Os habitadors alemans orichinals d'ista rechions yeran ditos alemans de Gottschee[3][4] u gottscheereses,[5] y o suyo dialecto d'orichen bavaro se conoixe como alemán de Gottschee[6] u gottscheerés.[7]
