S Gymnasium isch am 1. Septämber 1952 as „Sorbische Oberschule” (Serbska wuša šula) grindet wore, anne 1959 isch us ere di „Sorbische Erweiterte Oberschule” (Serbska rozšyrjona wuša šula) wore un schließli 1990 e Gymnasium.
