Sts 14 is ’n fossiele pelvis, ruggraat, rib en femur van die spesie Australopithecus africanus wat in 1947 deur Robert Broom ontdek is in die Sterkfonteingrotte in Suid-Afrika. Dit is na raming 2,6-2,8 miljoen jaar oud.

Dit het ’n uitsonderlike mensagtige pelvis, wat nie ooreenstem met enige ander dier s’n nie. Dit lyk of dit in ’n mate op twee bene geloop het. Dit is die eerste vonds wat bewys dat diere voor Homo sapiens al op twee bene geloop het.

Sommige wetenskaplikes meen Sts 14 kan aan Mev. Ples behoort (hoewel haar ouderdom op 2,15 miljoen jaar geraam word).[1]
