LAM Mozambique Airlines of Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique (IATA: TM; ICAO: LAM) is 'n Mosambiekse lugredery gebaseer op die Maputo Internasionale Lughawe, met sy hoofkwartier in Maputo.
Geskiedenis
[wysig | wysig bron]LAM Mozambique Airlines is in 1936 gestig as DETA (Linhas Aéreas de Mozambique of Direcção de Exploração dos Transportes Aéreos). Ná Mosambiek se onafhanklikheid van Portugal is die naam in 1980 na LAM Mozambique Airlines verander.
Die regering is die hoofaandeelhouer met ’n 91%-belang en die oorblywende aandele word deur die bestuur en personeel gehou.
Van 2012 tot 2017 is LAM Mozambique Airlines deur die Europese Kommissie op hul swartlys geplaas by lugrederye wie se vliegtuie om veiligheidsredes nie na Europa mag vlieg nie.[2][3]
Bestemmings
[wysig | wysig bron]LAM Mozambique Airlines bedryf geskeduleerde vlugte na verskeie bestemmings binne Mosambiek: Beira, Chimoio, Inhambane, Lichinga, Maputo, Nampula, Pemba, Quelimane, Tete en Vilankulo.
Buitelandse bestemmings in 2019 is: Dar es Salaam, Harare, Johannesburg en Nairobi.
LAM Mozambique Airlines het kodedeelooreenkomste met TAAG, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways en Suid-Afrikaanse Lugdiens vir vlugte na Luanda, Addis Abeba, Nairobi, Johannesburg, en bestemmings in Asië met Ethiopian Airlines.
