Die term inkunabel of wiegdruk (afgelei van die Latynse onsydige meervoudsvorm incunabula "wiege") verwys na gedrukte skrifte uit die vroeë tydperk van die boekdrukkuns wat tot en met 31 Desember 1500 vervaardig is. Daar is sowat 29 000 verskillende wiegdrukke waarvan na raming 'n half miljoen eksemplare bewaar gebly het.
