Die grens tussen Suid-Afrika en Mosambiek van 496 kilometer (308 myl)[1] word in twee segmente verdeel, slegs onderbreek deur die koninkryk Eswatini. Die noordelike segment, wat 410 kilometer (255 myl) lank is,[2] strek noord-suid langs die Lebomboberge vanaf Zimbabwe (insluitend die hele oostegrens van die Krugerwildtuin) tot by Eswatini. Die suidelike segment, wat 81 kilometer (50 myl) lank is,[2] loop oos-wes deur Maputaland van Eswatini tot aan die Indiese Oseaan.
