Dennis East

Dennis East (c. 1949 – 12 September 2022) was 'n Suid-Afrikaanse liedjieskrywer, musikant en musikale vervaardiger oorspronklik van Pietermaritzburg.[1][2] Hy het sy musikale loopbaan in die laat 1960's begin. Hy het in die 1970's saam met The Rising Sons opgetree,[2] en die rockgroep Stingray saam met ander Suid-Afrikaanse musikante in 1979 gestig. Benewens sy werk as liedjieskrywer het hy ook musiekalbums vir Suid-Afrikaanse kunstenaars sowel as Britse vervaardiger saksofoonspeler Andrew Young en het aan televisieprogramme soos Pump Up The Volume, Coca Cola Pop Stars en Popstars 2010 deelgeneem.
